PLANO, Texas — July 7, 2026 — IUME Foundation today announced the launch of its Texas Campus Growth & Learning Recovery Program, a new initiative designed to support high-need Texas campuses as they work to close learning gaps, strengthen student engagement, and improve academic outcomes.
The program is focused on helping underserved students access the academic support, digital learning tools, educator guidance, and community-based resources they need to recover unfinished learning and build long-term confidence in the classroom.
“Across Texas, many students have the ability to succeed but need additional support, time, and access to the right resources,” said Iyad Jabri, Chairman of IUME Foundation. “The Texas Campus Growth & Learning Recovery Program was created to stand alongside schools and educators who are working every day to help students catch up, grow, and thrive.”
Supporting Schools Beyond Test Preparation
While STAAR and End-of-Course assessments are important measures of academic progress in Texas, IUME Foundation believes learning recovery must go beyond short-term test preparation. The program is designed to support deeper academic growth by helping students rebuild foundational skills, strengthen learning habits, and gain confidence as learners.
Through partnerships with school districts, campuses, educators, volunteers, nonprofits, and technology providers, the Foundation aims to help schools expand support for students who may be behind academically or who need additional help to fully engage in learning.
The program may include support such as digital learning access, targeted academic practice, teacher-supported implementation, student readiness resources, and other services designed around the needs of participating campuses.
A Community-Based Approach to Campus Growth
High-need campuses often face challenges that extend beyond the classroom, including limited access to tutoring, technology gaps, interrupted learning, economic hardship, and uneven academic support outside of school. IUME Foundation’s approach is built around collaboration with local educators and community partners to create practical support models that are responsive to each school’s needs.
“Our goal is not to replace the work of teachers or schools,” Jabri said. “Our goal is to bring additional capacity, tools, partnerships, and support to help campuses accelerate student growth and create more equitable learning opportunities.”
Initial Focus in Texas
The Texas Campus Growth & Learning Recovery Program will initially focus on serving schools and districts in Texas, with particular attention to campuses serving disadvantaged and underserved student populations.
Over time, IUME Foundation intends to use lessons from the program to develop repeatable implementation models that can support other high-need communities in the United States and globally.
